At Gaia Guides, formerly Adventures 4 Kidz, we embrace the spirit of Gaia, the ancient Greek goddess of Earth, who symbolizes the interconnectedness of all living things. Our mission is to inspire a deep appreciation for our planet through immersive, nature-based adventures. From our enriching kids’ summer camps to global adventure travel, we guide participants of all ages through breathtaking landscapes while fostering a connection to the natural world.

As a small, women-owned business with deep roots in Alameda’s South Shore community, we bring years of expertise and passion to everything we do. With extensive experience paddling, sailing, and kiteboarding along the Bay, we’ve developed an unparalleled understanding of Alameda’s unique ecosystem. Our owner and program director have spent over 20 years working with kids and leading outdoor adventure programs, shaping our camps into safe, engaging spaces where children can explore, learn, and grow.
